Night One...

After a rousing meeting in the skips room where the kits and tour shirts were handed out the boys met in the bar and headed out into the Whitley Bay wilderness!!!

First call of the night was to Adarshes Summer home Banana Joe's!!

Some interesting sights taken in by the boys including some rather large Whitley Bay Whales!!

Several head to head punch off's on the punch machine saw no major shocks except the upset of the night Midget Chod Chetan defeating FJ in a round. Scott "Westhill Express" Rowell recorded the highest and lowest punches.. Drugs tests to be confirmed!!

A swift round of Sambucas and the boys were off... next stop the Hairy Lemon...

The sighting within seconds of entering of Whitley Bays White Jabba the slut scared the boys off though and the Gordo's conga line quickley wheeled straight in and out the bar in a flash!!

Next up was Envy and it was Jaeger Bomb time!! Some of the lads attempted to communicate with some of the locals... a look of confusion followed on the locals faces trying to understand A.Nals chat!!

Well tanked up now the boys headed for 42nd street and the dance floor was abused bigstyleeee!! All the Gordo's boys were cutting shapes and were joined by several locals living it up.

Finally the night was eneded by the visit to local club Deep!! Apple VK's... Dancing with strange Geordie Lassies and the hotel literally staggering distance away... An Ideal end to the night!!

Day Two...

Day trip to Newcastle and the Metro Centre!!

Morning was again just like being at home with some terrible weather!!

Finally the rain stopped in the afternoon and the boys tucked into some hangover food in the many fine eateries in the centre and some shopping bought for a few of the boys WAG's.

Jason's Chod Chod Sat Nav always good for interesting journeys saw us pass the Imperial hotel not once not twice but FOUR times!!!

On return to the hotel in the afternoon the boys settled in to watch England lose to the Aussies in the ODI from the Oval.

Night Two...

Gordonians first ever Dick of the Day award went to Stephen Devlin!!

Several members were heard in the afternoon to mutter hmmmm I think maybe a quiet night tonight... A hearty meal was had by the boys at the Fire Station when tour late comers Prem and Mathi arrived!!

Back at the residents bar the cards were out and finger drink poker was on the go... After several rounds of poker the drinks (Vodka, Malibu and J2O Thanks Prem!!) again were flowing and it wasn't long till the lads were thinking time to go out again!!

Anyone for Deep?? Hmmm Yes please!!!

Day Three...

Finally the weather god's smiled on us and we could get a game under our belts!!

Off to Aldbrough St John's for a 35 ov a side match... On arrival it was a lovely little village ground which had obviously suffered a little with bad weather but was at least playable!!

The boys took to the field for a team photo in the first ever Gordo's coloured clothing affair.

Night Three...

After the victorious Gordo's boys returned from a few sociables with the Aldbrough lads they all tucked into an array of Pizza, Chinese and Indian take aways...

Again the boys convened in the bar and after a few discussions and several drinks of course the coveted dick of the day outfit on this occasion worn by Chetan!!

Then some of the boys headed for the team favourite 42nd Street and again the drinks began to flow... Some local interaction was rumoured to have taken place that night... but as the old saying goes... What goes on tour....

The younger group of lads headed for newcastle... Stories... we think so!!

Day Four...

The boys awoke to see that the dreaded rain had returned and could almost be mistaken they were back home in Aberdeen!!

But following breakfast and a bit of fresh air the weather had lifted a bit... And it was off for the short journey to Blythe CC!!

The boys headed back to the bay and a shower and a few drinks followed...

Then it was Curry time... Double Dick of the Day Dev had the outfit on again after being drawn out for the final night!!

A great 5 course Indian was enjoyed by the whole group and it was a short walk past the 42nd Street club which was in darkness to the disappointment of the lads!!

A few of the boys made the short journey to Tynemouth only to be half way through their first drink when the lights came on in the club!! 

So the last night was over and the prospect of the 5 hour journey home meant a good nights sleep for the lads!!

A great laugh was had by all and thoughts already turning to next year and ABROAD 2010!!!! WATCH THIS SPACE.........!!!!!
